INDONESIA AND THE INCREASED OF FUEL PRICE

It’s shouldn’t be strange about for us hearing the news about oil inflation in Indonesia. High gas prices are usually caused by high prices for crude oil , which accounted for 72% of the price of gasoline in this year. And gas prices are going up right now because many reason. One of that reason is used of fuel oil is excess in many country, especially in Indonesia.

And many protest or rally came from many people who had low economy. More than 50% of the oil that Indonesians use come from this country - we produce it - so no money is needed to subsidise that oil, except for when we do the refining and transporting of the fuel. And this opinion told that its already growing scepticism that many Indonesians have about their governments’ to handling of the economy. They are increasingly frustrated with the levels of corruption among their elected officials. Anger about the government's inability to rid its own members of corruption has been as much a part of the demonstrations as has the opposition to fuel price hikes. Economists say that leaves the government handicapped to focus on other pressing matters. Without raising domestic fuel prices, the government's subsidy bill will continue to bloat.

Many people which face this problem also points out that for many Indonesian motorists, the argument that they should use less fuel so as to save on
costs does not make sense. There aren't any reliable methods of transportation,
aside from gas-guzzling personal vehicles, due to the lack of investment in a functioning public transportation system. And our president told that a few years ago the government had to raised fuel oil price before. But in the past has managed to appeal to its citizens and convince them of the merits of its plans. And this usage more it will be destroy the nature and be worse to increase global warming for this world.

Whether to do the best and the most immediate things we can do since now are reduce our usage of gas, either through driving less or increasing fuel efficiency. Surprisingly, the best way to decrease about the usage of fuel oil and keep our world from global warming in longer term, we can change our need for oil and gas by switching to alternative fuel
vehicles, using public transit and moving closer to work to reduce commuting time.
This will reduce the impact of gas prices on each of us individually by reducing use.
